California New Auto Product Launch

With the development of our new policy processing and quoting system completed, we are ready to lanuch our new auto insurance program in the glorious state of California. There was a tremondous amount of work to totally re-engineer our IT infrastructure, but we think it was well worth it ... and our Utah, Arizona and Oregon producers agree.

Now the real test ... we will be launching our new auto insurance program, on our new system in our home state of California.

With our lauch date of Novermber 15, 2014 quickly approaching, what should our California producers expect?

The source of the “un-disclosure” is debatable. Is it the producing agent or insured? What is not debatable is the impact. Undisclosed users of insured vehicles change results … for everyone.

Is The Market Ready for UBI?

In a recent survey conducted by Towers Watson (NYSE, NASDAQ: TW), a global professional services company, the conclusion was simple.  Yes!  Consumers are very receptive to UBI auto insurance programs.

The survey concluded that 79% of respondents would be willing to purchase or consider purchasing a usage-based auto insurance product. The group most interested were younger drivers between the ages of 18-34 years, who expressed the greatest interest, while the next largest segment that would be interested in using the device are those who classify themselves as regular daily drivers (54%).
